Notwithstanding anything else in this Agreement, Registry Operator must offer a searchable Whois service compliant with the requirements described in Section 1.3 of Specification 4 of this Agreement. Registry Operator must implement at least one of the following mechanisms in order to prevent abuse of the searchable Whois service: · Username and password based authentication. · Certificate based authentication. · CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) with rate-limiting mechanism to prevent repetitive invocation of the service.
